We focus heavily on how categories are disrupted by AI and the specific core technologies and adoption patterns enabling disruptive change. The areas of interest are broad and include: compute, storage, networking, database, messaging, devops, monitoring, security and the common components that make up most applications. The application categories we pursue segment by department (sales, marketing, support, finance, IT, legal, supply chain, etc.) or vertical market (commerce, fintech, public sector / government). - Founder pitches should focus on product technical depth and differentiation along with market insights around competition and go to market distribution strategies. - Data and Models - enterprise systems typically require collecting and synthesizing data across a variety of sources and domains. Building proprietary repositories along with advanced analytical models and user / agent workflows is essential to deliver and extract value - and also as a moat. - Stage: pre-seed and seed, teams usually < 5 people - Investment: typical initial check of $1-2M, generally between $10-20M post money valuation Limited reserves for follow on rounds due to fund size ($40-50M) - Location: global but typically US (68%), Europe (23%) and Israel (6%). As early as possible companies should be structured as a US Delaware C corp. ## What we don't back Consumer-only, med/biotech, crypto, hardware-heavy deep tech, part-time founders, and software targeting small medium businesses. Deep opinions about product packaging, pricing and go to market strategies. - **Role and Responsibilities** - almost never take board seats, but instead have frequent sessions initially around product architecture, market segmentation, product and corporate messaging. Thought partner and sounding board for anything. Opinions formed from experience, and shared with honest direct feedback.
